Mission

To prepare our students to be morally sound, socially skilled knowledge workers with all the 21^st century skills necessary to be leaders in industry and government!

Vision

To be the best international school in Central Asia with the best trained staff using the very best curriculum (the International Baccalaureate) and all the other available distance learning resources to insure that every student excels in his/her field of interest while having a solid basis in the sciences, math, social sciences, and the ability to communicate what they have learned in at least two languages.

Values

• To create a diverse, culturally integrated continuous learning community of staff and students that uses all the resources available to empower each student to excel academically, socially, morally, physically, and artistically.
• To develop a Board of Directors of staff, students, parents, and community stake holders who excel in their respective roles to insure that KIS is the very best academic institution in Central Asia that meets the need of the students, parents, faculty and staff of KIS, and the communities that it serves.
• To provide state of the art information technologies (e.g. Smart Classroom) that every student and staff member can access in every classroom from K-12.
• To provide professional development opportunities for teachers and staff to keep them current in their areas of specialty.
• To have the school pay for itself with additional resources provided as needed by grants, gifts, and other channels of support.
• To comply with all licensing and credentialing requirements.
