My name is Michelle Bartkoske and I am excited to be a part of KIS as a parent, as well as serving as the PTA chairperson this year.  My husband, Tom, and I have lived here  in Almaty for 7 years. We have two boys—Josh in grade 8 and Leo in grade 3. My husband works with Global Education. My family enjoys being outdoors. I am active in the hiking club, which is a part of the Almaty International Women’s Club.

I know I will enjoy getting to know you this year. My hope is that we are a group of parents that can support our teachers and school. Studies show that great schools have great parent involvement.
