KIS - Student Council
Student Council 2008
KIS is a diverse, multicultural, community of children, parents and teachers. Complete education develops students socially, intellectually, physically and aesthetically to prepare them for life in a rapidly changing world. At KIS, students are encouraged to develop the skills and attitudes to become caring, committed and contributing citizens with respect for individuals, other societies and the world.
Constitution Of The Student Council
The student council of KIS was formed in November 2007. The students from grade 3 - 9 elect their own President and Vice-President. The elected President is always from the senior class of the school. For the school year 2007/08, the students elected Noah Spottswood as the President of the student council.
The Working Of The Student Council
The students at KIS are involved in lots of activities as the goal of our school is to prepare a complete individual and the 21st century leaders. The students are encouraged to join Language/ Elocution Club or the Editorial Club depending on their talents and interests. Here we focus on speaking as well as writing skills of the students. We believe in the complete development of the students.
