Objectives

Our goal at KIS is to be an institution providing an authorized/accredited English medium education in a truly multicultural community.

We accomplish this by:

  • Providing an authorized academic program – the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program, a world-renown program of inquiry providing limitless opportunities for each student to pursue areas of interest well suited for his or her personality and style of learning.
  • Welcoming and celebrating a multicultural community where each individual is valued and honored for the diversity he or she contributes—a truly KIS distinction.
  • Providing excellent quality English as an Additional Language (EAL) support for every non-native English speaking student—equipping him/her to be engaged and participate fully in all aspects of school life at KIS.
  • Recruiting, training, and retaining well-qualified faculty and staff who are dedicated, caring, and experienced professionals invested in helping each student achieve his or her best, innate potential, within our English-medium school community.
  • Constructing a solid foundation—not only in well-built academic progress, but also in supporting each child’s development of strong values and resilient life skills for a successful future.
  • Providing cutting-edge ICT (Information Communication Technology) skills—essential technological tools necessary to be successful in a fast-paced, ever-changing 21st Century world.
