The property, formerly a two-storey 'kindergarten', was sold to the KIS founders, Mr. Daniel Gunaseelan and Mr. Ajai Kunnath, in 1997. The school is located in a beautiful area surrounded by apartment buildings, well off the main road. The school property is surrounded by a high green fence with an entrance for individuals and cars, monitored 24/7 by a professional security company.KIS is an English language instruction international school: Montessori pre-school for children 2.5-5 years old, elementary school; Reception to grade 5
